1. Top Rope (Bottom Belay) Climbing, Top Rope (Top Belay) Climbing.

The top-rope climbing course is designed to give students the knowledge and skills to locate a suitable climbing route (using a guide book), rig a solid and reliable anchor system to PACI’s high standard, operate a belay system and climb the route using a range of climbing techniques.

All Top Rope Courses and Vertical Rescue Courses are accredited through The Professional Association of Climbing Instructors Pty Ltd (PACI) which specialises in Height Safety Instruction.

Some of the skills covered can include selecting suitable natural anchors for top rope top belay climbing; creating a solid and reliable anchor system, and establishing and operating a belay system for top belay climbing.

2. Vertical Rescue Course

This is a must do course for all outdoor enthusiast that spend time on the rock. It is also a vital part of progressing towards a career as a guide or leader. Whether you are on the cliffs abseiling, rock climbing or working on a high ropes course the PACI Vertical rescue course will be of great value.

Can you deliver courses Australia Wide?
Yes - Not only does Adventures around Brisbane cater for people based in and around Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern NSW, but travel Australia Wide. This make the courses more accessible to outback regions as well.

Are the courses all classroom based?
No - Students will be required to perform specific work tasks while at height and will be trained while performing actual work duties. There is some classroom based training but the majority of the training is in real world and on specific locations.

Do courses allow for student to go on and become leaders themselves?
Yes - you have the opportunity to complete all levels of training and become either an assistant or leader with any course run by Adventures Around Brisbane.
